Joy Szulc

Director of Social Work Services, LSW

Worked as a job coach for Life Skills/Special Education since 2012. Social worker for Veterans Assistance Commission and Outpatient Addictions Counselor. Advocating for clients for over 10 years; working in the public school system as a special education paraprofessional and volunteer activities director for a retirement community.

Graduated from University of St. Francis with a Master of Social Work, specializing in geriatrics, veterans, and addictions. Member of National Association of Social Workers.

Proud mom of five children and two mini dachshund’s-Princess Leia and Chewbacca-both of which run the household. For the past 10 years, I have successfully run a home catering and confectionary business. In my spare time, I like to spend time with my family and fur babies; as well as hang out on or near the beach!

My life’s passion is to advocate for those without a voice, and those who need assistance navigating life’s challenges.

“The purpose of life is not to be happy. It is to be useful, to be honorable, to be compassionate, to have it make some difference that you have lived and lived well”.

-Ralph Waldo Emerson
