The GWC chapter raised money last November, for the homeless, with a Hat, Scarf and Glove drive and in April, they will be organizing and conducting a blood drive.

Shannon has made a huge impact on the lives of so many clients. She was given the nickname “Smiley” by one of her clients and as soon as you meet her you will see how that name fits her, perfectly. Her kind heart and soulful approach to client care is second to none. She has implemented several original innovative ideas while working with her clients to assist in preserving a better quality of life. Shannon has an incredible work ethic and is always available to help anyone she can.

Shannon attended Aurora Central Catholic High School, Waubonsee Community College and George Williams College.

Her hobbies include, music, movies, travel, anything outdoors, woodworking and “building things”; in fact she is in the process of renovating her laundry room and making new shutters for her home. She enjoys spending time with her rescue cat, Gertie, and her Sheepadoodle puppy, Winnie.

Shannon resides in the Western Suburbs with her mother.
